We love cousin Outings!

It has now officially been a year living in North Carolina (April) and I think our favorite part of living here is the fun times with cousins. I love how close Houston is to his cousins and that he sometimes thinks everyone are his cousins because he is so used to everyone we hang out actually being his cousins. Last night we went to dinner at someone's house and one of the kids left to a friend's house and Houston said, "Mom, where did my cousin go?" He had just met the kid that night but assumed he was a cousin.

Anyways... although we don't do it as much as we should-- we love our cousin outings. These pictures are from January 5th when we went the the Life and Science Museum in Durham while kids were out on track break. We visited the butterfly exhibit which the kids loved...

even Hadley and Cora enjoyed the fun.

Then we headed to race the sailboats. I warned Houston not to get too close or to get up on the side...of course he had other plans.

We love cousin outings! We are so grateful to live so close to sisters and cousins! We love it when our other cousins come to visit us too.
