Great Papa Bodell

We were lucky to have my Grandpa Bodell come out to visit back in November. He was came out to meet his newest great grandson AJ. Right before he left with my mom, AJ gave one of his first big grins and I think it melted grammy's heart.

 

I'm really glad that my mom suggested that even though he would be staying at Mitzi's house, that she wanted him to come spend one evening in each of our homes. We enjoyed a lovely dinner, he read to my kids, watched a little Fox News, and then we had a really sweet spiritual Family Home Evening on Tithing. It was very fun to have my Grandpa and patriarch in our home. I'm so grateful the wonderful example he has been throughout my life and glad his health allowed him to come visit. 

AND... he gets to come again in January to Baby AJ's blessing! Woo hoo!
